This is far more thought-provoking than I at first imagined - plenty to chew on with this!

  4. I'm thankful for how much she read to me. It gave me words, adventures, stories, and a grasp of grammar. I wouldn't be the teacher, writer, or mother I am without her.

  5. This is my second mother's day without my mother. There's a giant ache in my heart, but I have so many special memories. You picture reminded me of how she comforted me --Simply saying "Bless your baby heart." And yes, she was still saying it to me 57 years later. My siblings and I continue to say it to each other -- and we are still comforted.

  9. Beautiful! The Lord always convicts when I'm having a bad attitude that I am not reflecting Christ to my children. Great reminder!

  11. I'm thankful for my mom for teaching me about how to deal with insecurities growing up. I'm glad that she pointed out the things I did that were not becoming of me and the lady I was growing up to be. :)
